Why Pop Music Is So Insulting

“I love music. All types, from Radiohead to Waylon Jennings, I like it! But there is one particular genre in music that is strongly protested against by me, and it is of course – pop music. While it isn’t the worst of the worst, it’s still awful and incredibly insulting and offensive. Because I’m putting so much thought, and effort, and time, and emotion into my music, while pop stars just don’t care at all. I mean with pop you might as well be listening to a piece of tin. It’s so auto tune, and canned, and just flat out fake and awful, not to mention lifeless. Even with my younger brother exploring pop, I just can’t stand it. It aggravates me a lot, and the worst part is I don’t know what to do about it. All you see now-a-days is kidz bop, and Beyoncé and Justin Bieber and it’s terrible. It’s filled with no emotion, no thought, and no care at all. So agree or not, I think pop music is insulting.” -Luke Giese

Lyrics To Pop Song (Proving It’s The Most Insulting Thing On The Planet)

“I whip my hair back and forth, I whip my hair back and forth, I whip my hair back and forth, I whip my hair back and forth, I whip my hair back and forth, I whip my hair back and forth, I whip my hair back and forth”

  1. Although I do like SOME “pop”ish music (for dancing purposed only), I agree with you mostly. I was especially shocked to find out that whip my hair gibberish is a REAL “SONG”! Yes that is insulting! Your music is far better. IMO. 😉

  2. I try to whip my hair back and forth, I try to whip my hair back and forth, I try to whip my hair back and forth…
New pop tune I’m working on. Still fleshing it out.
